The Modern Jewish Experience

The Modern Jewish Experience series introduces readers to new scholarship by publishing intellectually important books on the recent Jewish past that reflect innovative and diverse historical approaches. The series takes an expansive view of Jewish history and considers the Jewish experience in many geographical areas, including Europe, North and South America, Israel, and the Mediterranean world. While the series focuses mainly on publishing monographs, it also considers edited volumes and translations that provide fresh insights into and critical reflection on the modern Jewish experience through their methodology or content. Submit a book proposal through our online form here. Deborah Dash Moore and Marsha L. Rozenblit, editors Paula Hyman, founding coeditor
