Publications of the Early Music Institute
Publications of the Early Music Institute invite studies in music history and performance studies of music before ca. 1800, including performance practice, organology, and cultural studies. The series is sponsored by the Indiana University Jacobs School of Music Early Music Institute, which offers a comprehensive program in historical performance practice with an additional focus on archival materials and theoretical studies. Contributors to the PEMI series include, but are not limited to, the internationally-recognized faculty members and affiliates of the EMI.
The series is no longer accepting new projects. Continues as Historical Performance.
