Raymond Funk to speak at calypso symposium Jan. 19-20 at IU

Raymond Funk, contributor to Trinidad Carnival, will present at a calypso symposium Jan. 19 from 12:00 p.m.-1:30 p.m. and 3:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. in the Bridgwaters Lounge of the Neal-Marshall Black Culture Center at IU. On Jan. 20, he will give presentations from 1:00 p.m.-2:30 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.-8:30 p.m. in IU’s Theatre building, room A201. The calypso symposium is part of the exhibition "Calypso Music in Postwar America: Photographs and Illustrations, 1945-1960," which is co-curated by Funk.
